Outstanding! Keep it up!
Amazing place with delicious food!
Unfriendly, overwhelmed service, arrogant, hostile boss, we've never been treated so badly by a restaurateur. Personal descortés, jefe arrogante y posiblemente xenófobo, no entren!
In all respects a very excellent place!
Nice ambience, great wines, smart, friendly team and Marcello's food is a poem. Full marks, full recommendation and gladly again and again.
A mega beautiful evening We were with you together with my team. It was very good for me, it was a great break for me. Thanks for the great service and the mega food. See you soon LG André and the Magda team
Very nice wine bar with a large selection. Tasty food and nice service. The garden is romantic
Grandiose location to drink a good wine in a very neat and dignified manner. I also enjoyed the food very much!
Great atmosphere, excellent food, make a reservation in advance, the excellent menu must be ordered in good time, very extensive wine list. The wine bar is highly recommended if you eat in Weimar :-)
Great ambience and great people! The food is even better :) I love it there.
Food, service, wine wonderful. But at the moment there was no sign of a hygiene concept. Therefore 2 star deduction, because you couldn't really feel comfortable with so many people in such a small space.
Very fair wine prices and really great food for a reasonable price. We were outside in the little summer garden, very romantic. I can really recommend it.
Traditional wine bar with gourmet cuisine by Marcello Fabbri For 25 years, Michelin-starred chef Marcello Fabbri was the best gourmet chef in Thuringia in the Anna Amalia hotel restaurant - that is unfortunately history. Since 2018 he has been delighting the foodies in the Weimar wine bar with his creative aroma kitchen. Philipp Heine has created a wine bar with over 100 open wines in the bar in the 150-year-old former Sommer'schen wine bar. The ambience is based on the historic wine bar furnishings, the rooms of which have been carefully and tastefully modernized. Here, wine lovers will find a huge range of open and bottled wines, which, if desired, can be bought for half the price. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed - especially the small summer garden behind the house is a hidden gem in Weimar. We were served warmly and attentively by Jennifer. She informed us professionally about the wines and bar food on offer. Marcello Fabbri, now a partner, enchants gourmets with top-class bar food. The dishes clearly have the aroma and sophistication of the star chef. The chef also offers changing 5-course gourmet menus that reflect his concentrated experience in the gourmet kitchen. The bar food dishes are offered for a moderate 10 euros per course and the large gourmet menu costs 79 euros for 5 courses. That is the finest gourmet cuisine at extremely moderate prices. Our bar food was perfect aroma cuisine by Marcello Fabbri - we could not find any drawbacks to the previous visit to the star restaurant Anna Amalia in the Hotel Elephant - except for the pleasantly low prices. Conclusion: The best recommendation in town for gourmets. If you are interested in gourmet-quality aroma cuisine, you can "taste it" with the affordable bar food offer.
Unfortunately, you notice that people under 30 are not welcome here. It's a shame because we all really appreciate the wine bar and would like to spend nice evenings there more often. So we have often not been given a table, although some were free or indicated with indirect comments that we are not wanted here. At the opening evening I was greeted with the words "There are no" free drinks "anymore, even though I intended to buy a normal wine. When I ordered the cheapest one on the menu the comment from the boss who served me came back" Well .. I already thought that .. "I just wanted a light Pinot Blanc. I also wanted to show my partner the beautiful inner courtyard but we weren't allowed to look at it because it wasn't ready for summer. It's really a shame, like here Guests will be "welcomed". Everything over 30 with a certain income look will be smiled at and entertained here. Younger guests who would still leave a lot of money with you are sometimes treated really brazenly. Too bad, wine bar! It really is in need of improvement. I hope you work there Future more to you.
The place to be in Weimar
Very good wines, delicious food and nice atmosphere. A successful evening!
Nice atmosphere, very friendly and courteous team. Large, nice wine selection. Always worth a trip: the kitchen by Marcello Fabbri. Particularly tasty - the tasty, aromatic tomatoes, which were served with buffalo mozzarella. The sorbet for the Desert was a poem - very intense in taste, hard to top in consistency - just perfect!
Beautiful wine bar with a huge selection. Fit conditions that accompany you well through the evening and know a lot about the food and drinks. And great decor with a nice little courtyard to sit outside. My personal insider tip for a great evening!
Great dishes prepared with love and skill. Changing cards and, of course, as the name promises, great wines in a rustic atmosphere.
Don't understand the positive reviews. Staff have no idea about expert wine advice and boss can't be beat in arrogance. Traveled too far to find this overpriced Nepp OK. Too bad about the nice place.
Not welcoming. Rude.
An incredibly good restaurant. And the wine list only ...
Deserves to be visited for the extremely good food, not to mention the extraordinary wine list which does of course cover the entire wall. I ate there both nights out of the 2 nights I spent in Weimar. I had 3 plates each night and only the cheese was not made in-house. It is extremely rare that every single dish that comes out of the kitchen is faultless, but this is the case here. I would be confident if I ate there tomorrow and tried the small plates I have not yet tried, they would all be good. Some say it is expensive but you get what you pay for. Three small plates with two glasses of wine for 38 euros I consider a bargain for this quality. Absolutely Recommended as a must visit in Weimar.
Very nice evening in a nice place. Lots of delicious wine, in a relaxed atmosphere. We were thrilled and will definitely come back.
Great place! Excellent choice of wine, good atmosphere and very nice service.
